9/11 memorial to cost $1bfrom nymag: Today, the Daily News brings us our first glimpse of what the new, reassessed costs of the World Trade Center rebuilding might be. But the worst part is that there’s likely to be a lot more bad news coming from the Port Authority going into the fall, as they reevaluate their schedules and budgets. This is just the beginning.
