David McGowan, author of the serial killer shocker, ‘Programmed to Kill: The Politics of Serial Murder,’ reveals in a recent Far Out Radio interview (MP3) that his “Inside the LC” series is to be made into book.

The present writer can’t wait to get another fix of research that continues to reveal how tendrils of the military intelligence community manipulated US culture. McGowan implies that seeds of the “Sixties Revolution” represents a psyop – as central figures, like Jim Morrison and Frank Zappa, are from military families.

McGowan doubts the usual dismissal that it was all just a youthful rebellion. The author suggests, with some amazing facts, that the hippie movement wasn’t an organic occurrence.

It’s also a shock to learn that many of the people who lived in the Canyon turn up dead later.
