Mail Online reports Joe Paterno said, “‘in hindsight, I wish I had done more,’” in a Saturday Washington Post interview of the former head coach. The 85 year old Paterno, battling with cancer and a recently suffered broken pelvis, may still live to regret the interview. Paterno sounding a bit too innocent when he remarked: “‘you know it wasn’t like it was something everybody in the building knew about… Nobody knew about it.'” Local broadcaster Mark Madden provided in April best analysis of Penn St. scandal in little noticed article, and finally, brought well-deserved media attention to scandal in a November interview.
