An article at The Telegraph, “Apple iTunes flaw ‘allowed government spying for three years‘,” reports that a British software company sells governments their hacking software – Finfisher – that exploits a security flaw in iTunes to deliver remote monitoring program through a bogus update. Are you surprised? Apple was informed of the flaw three years ago, but did not patch security breach until earlier this month, according to a security expert’s blog post. You shouldn’t be surprised because it’s business as usual.
