from idahostatesman.com: A deacon with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Nampa was arrested Tuesday after a girl told investigators with the Nampa Police Department he had touched her inappropriately inside a church storage room. Alexander Gonzalez Garcia was charged with lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16. The preteen told investigators that Garcia had lured her into the storage room at a July 20 potluck by telling her he had something “cool” to show her, according to court documents… Garcia told detectives that Satan had been in the storage room with him and the girl, and had taken control of him and made him touch the child inappropriately. The deacon went on to say that he would not have touched the girl if Satan had not been in control of him… Garcia could face up to life in prison if convicted of lewd conduct.
